Ingredients for Yema Cake:

  1. 1 pack pancake mixture.
  2. 1 whole egg.
  3. butter (melted).
  4. 2 tbsp sugar.
  5. fresh milk.
  6. cheese.
  7. For the toppings:.
  8. 1 egg yolk.
  9. 1 small can evaporated milk.
  10. 1 small can condensed milk.
  11. butter (melted).

Step by step how to cook Yema Cake:

  1. Add the pancake mixture, fresh milk, sugar, egg, butter. Mix well..
  2. Put butter on every sides of the llanera/molder. Pour in the mixture (half of the molder only)..
  3. Make sure water in the steamer is boiling. Place the molders/llanera. Steam it for 20-30mins..
  4. For the toppings. In a separate pan, mix condensed milk, evap, egg yolk, butter. Mix continuously until you get the desired thickness..
  5. Remove the cake from the molder, place in a tupperware. Top it with the milk mixture/toppings. Add cheese on top..
