Ingredients for Crockpot Taco Chuck Roast:

  1. 1 large pack chuck roast (cleaned, trimmed of fat and dried thoroughly).
  2. 1 packet taco seasoning mix.
  3. 1 can (14.5 ounce) low sodium beef broth.
  4. 1 can (14.5 ounce) diced tomatoes.
  5. 1/8 teaspoon black pepper.
  6. 1 green pepper, sliced.
  7. 2 onions, sliced.
  8. 6 cloves garlic, minced.
  9. White rice or noodles.

Step by step how to cook Crockpot Taco Chuck Roast:

  1. Place your cleaned and dried chuck roast into your crockpot.......
  2. Add to crockpot your packet of taco seasoning, beef broth, diced tomatoes and black pepper, mix slightly......
  3. Next add your green pepper, onion and garlic........
  4. Cover and cook on low heat for 10 hours......
  5. Four hours before beef is done cooking shred with 2 forks and mix into sauce......for the remainder of time left to cook you can leave your crockpot lid halfway in the open position so that the excess liquid can evaporate.......stir occasionally........
