Ingredients for Banana Bread:

  1. 450 g mashed 🍌 (can add more).
  2. 90 g melted unsalted butter.
  3. 40 g white sugar.
  4. 40 g brown sugar.
  5. 1 large egg (room temperature).
  6. 1 tsp vanilla extract.
  7. 225 g all purpose flour / cake flour.
  8. 1 tsp baking soda.
  9. 1/4 tsp salt.
  10. 1 cup chocolate chip (optional).

Step by step how to cook Banana Bread:

  1. Preheat over at 160° & line in baking paper on 2L loaf pan..
  2. Whisk 🍌, sugar, butter until well-blended..
  3. Whisk in egg & vanilla extract.
  4. Add in sifted flour, baking soda & salt. Using a spatula, using cutting and scrape motion to stir till well blended. Stir in chocolate chips..
  5. Pour batter into loaf pan, knock out some air. Bake for about 1 hour & 15 minutes(看著辦)until a tester inserted in the centre & come out clean..
  6. Put the tray into the middle, once 🍌🍞 is starting to turn brown, move tray to bottom, when it turned into your desire colour, cover the top with aluminium foil. (Me: move to bottom after 30mins, cover with foil after 15min).
  7. Cool it in the tin for 20 mins. Take out & cool completely..
