You can cook Musaka with 11 Ingredients and 6 steps. See the following guide!
Ingredients for Musaka:
- 4 large potatoes.
- 2 onions.
- 500 g mince.
- salt.
- black pepper.
- savory.
- water.
- for the mix:.
- 2-3 eggs.
- 400 g yogurt.
- 1 tbs flour.
Step by step how to cook Musaka:
- Prepare your ingredients. Peel and slice the potatoes and the onions to small cubes..
- Fry the onion in a large pan with a bit of oil. Add the mince. Mix till it changes it's color to ashy, then add the potato cubes and half a cup of boiling water. Wait for the water to evaporate and the potatoes to soften. Take off the stove..
- Turn on the oven to pre-heat. Put the mix in a baking tray. Put the spices on and mix well. Add a cup of boiling water. Put in the oven. Bake until the water evaporates completely. Don't forget to check on the potatoes..
- Meanwhile prepare the mix in a small bowl. I added a pinch of savory cause it looks good..
- When the potatoes are ready and there's little to no water in the tray, put the mix over. Be careful, if there's still water there, it won't look as good..
- Put in the oven again and wait until golden..
