Ingredients for Foul Medammes Dip:

  1. 500 gm mince meat (beef).
  2. 1 large red onion.
  3. 3 no's garlic.
  4. 1/2 cm ginger.
  5. 2 tbsp briyani powder.
  6. 1/4 tsp white pepper.
  7. 4 tbsp Ghee oil.
  8. 1 tbsp peanut or corn oil.
  9. 2 tbsp tomato puree.
  10. 1 1/2 cans foul medammes beans - mashed.
  11. 1 cube beef stock.
  12. 300 ml water.
  13. to taste Salt.

Step by step how to cook Foul Medammes Dip:

  1. Blend the onion, garlic and ginger until fine texture. Heat up the pan with ghee and oil. Add in the blended mixture to the oil and cooked until the oil separate from the mixture.
  2. Add in the briyani powder, white pepper and tomato puree in the pan. Let it simmer for 3 mins..
  3. Add in the mince beef. Mix and combine.
  4. Add in the beans that already mashed to the mixture. Then you can add in the beef stock cube. Mix to combine..
  5. Then add in the water. Mix and let it simmer till the mixture thicken. Add in salt to taste..
  6. Serve while it hot with baguette or french loaf that already toast. Garnish with mince onion, slice green chilli, sunny side up eggs and calamansi lime. Squeeze the calamansi lime to the dish for more taste..
