Ingredients for Red Sauce Pasta:

  1. 3 cups Penne pasta or your choice.
  2. 1 bay leaf.
  3. 1 onion.
  4. 1 capsicum.
  5. 1 carrot.
  6. 1 cup corn.
  7. 1 broccoli.
  8. 1 bay leaf.
  9. 1 inch ginger.
  10. 1 tsp butter.
  11. 1 tsp ginger garlic paste.
  12. Salt.
  13. Mixed herbs for seasoning.
  14. 1 tsp sugar.
  15. 3 tsp crushed pepper.
  16. 1 tbsp sour cream/whipped cream.
  17. 2-3 cups red pasta sauce (you can make your own using tomoato+ chilli).

Step by step how to cook Red Sauce Pasta:

  1. First of all take 8-12 cups of water and boil it with penne pasta adding a tsp of salt for around 15-20 mins until it softens.
  2. Chop all the required vegetables and keep it ready.
  3. Now in a pan take a tsp of butter + bay leaf + ginger garlic paste..
  4. Sauté it until it’s aromatic. Now add all the vegetables and sauté for 10 minutes.
  5. Now add pasta sauce (you can make your own or a ready one) + salt + crushed pepper + seasoning/mixed herbs+ sugar. Mix it well. Now add boiled pasta and sauté for awhile..
  6. Mix it well and add pasta sauce based on the taste required. Add sour cream on top in the end. Serve it hot..
